Tall Together 2008 Date: Sunday 27 April 2008 to Sunday 4 May 2008 Location: Noordwijkerhout - Amsterdam Program for the Europe meeting of 2008. Sunday 27 April 2008 (ZO) The theme of today will be arrival, the meeting with old friends and getting to know new ones. We recommend you to choose Amsterdam Schiphol Airport as a travel destination when you travel by plane or train. From this location transfers to our hotel in Noordwijkerhout will be taken care of at fixed times. On the registration form you can indicate at which time you wish to make use of the transfer so you can organize your itinerary optimally. The Transfer times will be: - 11:00 hrs - 14:00 hrs - 17:00 hrs The program includes: - Possible transfer from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to the hotel Monday 28 April 2008 (MA) - `Hello Amsterdam!` At the start of our first day we will take you to our capital city of Amsterdam. A scavenger hunt will take you through the world famous Jordaan and the infamous Red Light District (De Wallen). By foot you will discover Amsterdam in the best and most beautiful manner. After lunch, a 'Smartlappen' workshop will be organized. Under professional accompaniment you will learn this Amsterdam folk music. After this sociable afternoon we will have diner in Amsterdam, after which we will return to the hotel together. The program includes: - transfers from and to the hotel - day program in Amsterdam - lunch - diner   Tuesday 29 April 2008 (DI) - `Holland on tour` Today we will spend the day in the most popular living surroundings of The Netherlands: Het Gooi. The transfer will bring us to Naarden. Naarden is a picturesque old fortified city. We will admire this beautiful place and her sights during morning hours. In a magnificent nature area in the direct surroundings, we will enjoy lunch. Next we will visit the Muiderslot castle in Muiden. This castle dates from 1208 and tells us the story of the Dutch Golden Age. For dinner, which you will have to organize at your own expense, we will offer three possibilities. On the registration form you can tick the following choices: - drop of in Amsterdam for Queens night - drop of in Noordwijk Centrum to find a restaurant of your choice - back to the hotel Explanation of these choices On this particular Tuesday night, Amsterdam is preparing itself for Queens night (the night preceding Queen's Day). You will have the opportunity to experience this unique event yourself. You will have to arrange for return to the hotel yourself. You can also tick the box for Noordwijk Centrum. There you will find sufficient different restaurants to have diner. You will have to arrange for return to the hotel yourself. You can also return to the hotel to have dinner there at your own expense. Our transfer takes you to Amsterdam and back at pre-destined times. In Amsterdam we will have the opportunity to explore the street markets, street performances and other festivities. Amsterdam at its finest! Upon return at the hotel you can have a typical Dutch dinner buffet against a supplement of € 24,-. The program includes - transfers from the hotel to Amsterdam and back Thursday 1 may 2008 (DO) - `Welcome (T)all Together!` Thursday 1 May 2008 (TH) - `Welcome (T)all Together!` The first day of the main program will be about the arrival of new guests, the trade fair, the European Council and the big welcome dinner and subsequent party night. We recommend you to choose Amsterdam Schiphol Airport as a travel destination when you travel by plane or train. A visit to the North Sea beach or the beautiful flower gardens of the Keukenhof. Bike rental is possible at the hotel. This could also be a wonderful day to use the hotel facilities such as bowling, sauna or swimming pool amongst many more. At 18:00 hrs the buffet will be officially opened. The following party night will continue until 02:00 hrs. The program includes - possible transfer from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to the hotel - diner buffet - party night Friday 2 may 2008 (VR) - `(T)all on the water` The big event of our main program. (T)all on the Water!! The transfer will bring us to the IJsselmeer city of Enkhuizen in the early morning. From Enkhuizen we will enjoy a day on the water on traditional sailing ships. We will go where the wind will take us, but a short visit to Marken or Volendam is certainly possible. For the guests who do not have strong sea legs the day is organized in and around Enkhuizen. In the historical triangle Enkhuizen-Hoorn-Medemblik an excursion by steam train, ferry boat and regular train and a visit to the Open-air Zuiderzee museum will be organized. We will end this beautiful day together with dinner and a return trip to the hotel. Today you can relax and prepare yourself for our Gala party on Saturday evening. We would like to suggest our guests to spend a day in the direct surroundings of Noordwijkerhout. A visit to the sea shore seems to be a wonderful preparation for the night to come. You can also enjoy a pleasant day in the beautiful flower gardens of the Keukenhof. Upon your request, we can help organize for personal care at your own costs. Possibilities are nail care, sauna, beauty parlour or hairdresser. On the registration form you will have to point out your interest. We will contact you upon your registration. The Gala dinner will start at 18:00 hrs, followed by a spectacular party. In several areas you can enjoy a band, a DJ or the Sports bar. After this night, likewise on Thursday, you will experience the luxury of having your hotel room at the same location as the party. The party will last till 02:00 hrs. The program includes: - Gala dinner - Gala party Sunday 4 May 2008 (ZO) - `We'll meet again!` The farewell.
